Sadly the village has no pub, village hall, school or village green.

The Southdowns Manor wedding venue is located within the parish.

The Elsted Inn is just outside the parish boundary and runs events for Trotton residents on the first Friday of each month (booking needed).

The Parish Council has offered a grant to the local church benefice in order to help make St George's church, Trotton more suitable as a venue for use by community groups.
